‘The Woodland Clan’ Activity Trail – Beak, bone, feather and song! 

‘The Woodland Clan Activity Trail’ invites families to join the Purbeck beat of “beak, bone, feather and song” and help save Purbeck’s wildlife from destruction by the “Bigfoots”. This spectacular trail explores the wisdom of the animals through sculptures, activities, quizzes, storytelling and prizes!”

Find the sculptures, complete the writing exercises and enjoy all that Bournemouth Town Centre has to offer for kids!

‘The Woodland Clan’ Exhibition 17th May – June 1st 2021 – Fine Foundation Gallery and Belvedere. Explore the world of the children’s book by Annie Herridge and Mark Page, featuring the original artworks and the stories behind the characters.

A musical adaptation of the book with an original score performed by composer Chas Dickie. Bring a picnic and sing along with the voices of beak, bone, feather and song. Free family event, booking required www.durlston.co.uk or 01929 424443.

The Woodland Clan’ Art Workshops – 9/10th of August

Sketch & Draw with artist Mark Page creating your own woodland creatures. (7-12yrs) Booking required £5.00 (Free for Dorset Max Card Holders).

11 am – 3 pm
Join artists Clare & Annie in a fun days workshop making beak, bone, feather and song bunting for the trail plus headdress making & storytelling. Booking Required (Free workshop for local families and Dorset Max Card Holders).
